Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from MacDailyNews!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!

As we enter the holiday weekend news slowdown, we can all look forward with anticipation to Apple CEO Steve Jobs’ opening keynote address for Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at 9am PST. The news (rumor-laden most probably) will undoubtedly build next week as we count down the days to the event. We can hardly wait!

We’ll continue to post as time, disparate Internet connections, and the news permits this holiday weekend.

Thank you for visiting MacDailyNews throughout the year and making MDN a part of your day. We really appreciate it.

  1. “Merry OSXmas!” LOL! Good One, NickBob!

Thanks MDN for everything you do. Reading your site 50 million times a day is what makes my little world spin around.

I have not had the best of health for the last 4 months or so, but I am, apparently, going to be OK. So, I wish everyone here the best this Christmas and in the new year. I hope it’s a healthy and happy one for us all. Trust me, good health is the greatest thing out there ( along with Macs, chicks, and friends and family and….)

Ah…life’s simple pleasures. Checking MDN and getting wrapped up in the news, rumors and anticipation, as well as following the comeback of what is probably the greatest company in the world – these are just some of the many little things that make life great.

    Merry Christmas everybody!

  2. The Other Steve,

Thanks, bud! It’s good to be here. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

BTW, who’s getting a new Mac either for Christmas or after MacWorld?

I’m hoping for a new MacBook this Christmas, but I’m not at home right now and can’t shake any gifts until I get there. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”raspberry” style=”border:0;” />

  3. Happy Holidays to all…yes, even “Mac Realist”, “Zune Tang” and the other Mac-bashers out there (in the spirit of Peace On Earth yadda yadda yadda…).

Stay safe and (relatively sane) this weekend, and if any of your friends or loved ones receive either a Zune or a Windows computer, please resist the temptation to laugh in their faces…

  4. Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2007, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make this country great. Not to imply that this country is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only country in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.

By accepting these greetings, you are accepting the aforementioned terms as stated. This greeting is not subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for herself/himself/others, and is void where prohibited by law and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wish.

  5. Merry Xmas to everybody even Mike Dell. I hope everybody get what they wanted and let’s not forget the ones who is dying over sea for everybody freedom. And last of all let try to help the homeless they are the one who really need the blessing

Nobody in this great country of ours should not be lonely and homeless.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS

  6. A very Merry Christmas to you all as well.

Ever since my 69 year old father switched to the Mac he and my stepmom couldn’t be happier. No more sudden odd disconnection’s from the Internet as Windows XP Pro kept ‘forgetting’ its network setting. As for crashes, they’re history along with the now extinct problem of viruses.

The Macbook is an excellent and down right best notebook in this range, plus it can run 3 OS’s if needed. Of course Macbook Pro’s go a lot better such as dedicated graphics verses the shared with system memory in the Macbook.

This reminds me I was in a computer hardware store recently and boy did I give the sales clerk a hard time! I asked him if the used laptop, an HP, was wireless and he reached up to a shelf and said he’d throw in the PCMCIA card and in a mocked surprised way I asked why isn’t wifi capability built in – he couldn’t answer!

    MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS
