‘Wake Up With Whoopi’ launches Apple MacBook Core 2 Duo contest (15 units up for grabs)

Wake Up With Whoopi wants to give you a chance to win Apple’s new MacBook Core 2 Duo. From WakeUpWithWhoopi.com:

Here’s the deal: Simply tell us why you want a MacBook. That’s right. We want to know what fantastic and fun things you would do if you were to get one of your very own. Use the form below to write your reasons (in 100 words or less) and Whoopi, Cubby, Producer Mike and the Crew will read each and every one and, based on originality and creativity, will pick a winner a day for 15 days beginning on Monday, November 27th.

Everyone at Wake Up With Whoopi has been having a blast playing with the MacBook. Producer Mike now has his own website — set up in an afternoon! Cubby & Matt have been having video chats all week and Bernie — who loves his PC — now uses his MacBook to keep Wake Up With Whoopi on the air! And just check out the picture below to see how much fun some of the gang had with the built in camera (and yes — those are special MacBook-created effects!)

With a MacBook the possibilities are endless. It’s so easy to create beautiful things. Bring together your photos, movies, music, your memories.. your life… and share it with the people that you care about, no matter how near or far they are.

Whatever you want to do in your life, you can do it on a Mac.

  1. Why don’t you guys like whoopi? I think she’s absolutely wonderful.

It’s a shame that she’s gone from a major movie star to just doing radio now. Either way, she’s gotta be one of my favorite actresses. She’s great!

  2. Although the contest and the prize (a Macbook) is super cool, the reason I thought this was a great story is because Whoopi, on her national radio show, is heavily promoting this contest by blasting PCs and praising the Mac platform. I listened for a couple hours this morning and it was brutal. She made a believer out of me and I thought I was already a believer. Shame she is not on more stations because love her or hate her she is really promoting the Mac in rare form!
