1. That’s One Way to Rally the Troops: Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, will stop at nothing to keep the legions of Microsoft employees motivated and entertained, even at his own expense. It must have been this spirit that prompted Ballmer to take the stage during a 2001 company event to the tune of Gloria Estefan’s “Get on Your Feet,” performing what was quickly dubbed “The Monkey Boy Dance.” Part “Skip to My Lou” and part Nazi goose step, Ballmer “danced” while screaming at his minions: “Wooooo! Get up! Come on! Give it up for me!” A few days later, an unrepentant and sweat-drenched Ballmer would lead a crowd to repeatedly chant “Developers!” Video remixes of both performances abound.

Everyone’s got the Monkey Boy clip, that’s why it’s numero uno. Without further ado… — I thought you were going to give us Paris! I should’a known … frigging web geeks! Oh yeah… we’ve all got that one too….

  2. Really makes you wonder what is wrong with society when most of us:

    a) get educated
    b) act normal
    c) contibute

and morons like Ballmer have salaries greater than 10 ppls life time income.

Oh and lets not forget in his first international press conference he tells thee world how M$ stock is way to over priced.

    Just my $0.02

What’s worse? Freaks like Ballmer, or bozos like Gates hiring him & leaving him on despite years (decades!) of his fsck ups? Gotta love cronyism.

Live isn’t fair, and it’s all luck. It’s what happens when a mutant, who couldn’t qualify for MS’s night cleaning crew, gets in early at a small geek firm that turns into a titan.

Plenty of thanks are also owed to Gates’ mommy & daddy for landing MS an exclusive OS contract with IBM.

But methinks times will be changing. No organization today can survive with that kind of dead weight at the top, and so many deep, growing problems throughout.
