  1. That’s a great deal. I just ordered one as a backup for the 1GB shuffle I bought on the refurb page about a year ago (for $99). I like this design better than the new tiny ones, because you don’t need a docking station. Just pull off the cap and plug it in.

Thanks for the heads up, MDN!

  2. Thanks for the heads-up. I just ordered three of the 512s – one for me, one for a friend, and one for a gift. All for less than one cost when they first came out. Shipping’s free if you order at least two. I love buying one generation previous – did it with my 4 gig mini a while ago and saved good bucks there too (plus got the extra cords and stuff that they left out of the 2nd gen).

  3. I ran across this Monday browsing in the Apple Store. I got one for each of my 2 kids for Christmas. And since it was just over $50 I did not have to pay shipping. They arrived yesterday. Beautiful!! Also I got a refurb black 2Gb Nano last month and it is so awesome.

  4. Bought one to put on the shelf, in case the Shuffle I have goes south. It’s the perfect iPod for the gym.

I have a feeling that it may sit on my closet shelf for quite a while, though. The old one has been problem-free and shows no signs of slowing down.
