  1. Picking up more people, go! go! down to under 30 minutes for 60%, wheee!!!

Remember to leave the Bit Torrent app running for some time for others. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”smile” style=”border:0;” />

    Thanks everyone.

  2. Considering Civ3 runs fine on my old under 500 MHz (single) G4, it’s amazing that the next version needs a G5 and a fancy graphics card as a minimum config. This is a turn-based stragegy game, not a 3D first person shooter. The fun is in the strategy, not action. Where is all that power going…?

  3. Yea Civ 4 really doesn’t seem to be all that graphic intense at first, but much like Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, it’s when it gets more involved it probally does.

The stragety games don’t last long with me, I like to kill things.

Civ 4 doesn’t seem to work well with the ATI x850 xt, getting artifacts. But it does this in Doom3 too. Perhaps because of my second monitor?

ATI cards IMO are junk, they are noisy too.
