Lightroom 4 looks nasty to me, whats with the flounce under the preview window?
So Aperture 1.5 is out and it looks great…
But why do I have to pay the equivalent of US$416 in the UK when in the US you can buy it for US$299.
Why the f*ck are you ripping us off so much in the UK market Apple????
Now I have to wait ’til the next trip to the US…
Macaday
Because the UK likes to rip its citizens, it is not an Apple decision, A cup of coffee in the UK cost me $6 at Starbucks in the US is 3.25
its not apple its the uk tax
Where’s the press about the Photokina event? I haven’t seen anything about it yet.

The VAT on the UK store is US$62. So Apple just want another $50…
Uh?
What’s its name: Lightroom or Photoshop Lightroom?
Apple’s APerture has a bad stigma already (from release 1). All pro photographers I know are shunning it. Plus, Adobe has the photographers’ hearts because of Photoshop.
@marley
I don’t know how many pro photographers you know, but most of them that I know (and I am one) feel that Photoshop is the tool because its all that is out there, but its ability to manage the editing workflow of a large photo session largely stinks. Aperture, has the post-processing workflow down almost cold – a few little bumps in the road, and it just keeps getting better. I have also used Adobe’s Lightroom, which is a fine product, but I think it is really lacking in some important areas (like, try managing a few 1000 images with it – not so nice…) and does NOT seem to be getting better, IMO.
Aperture rocks and I am glad that there is competition – it only makes everything better.
