  1. I have issues with fans running wild sometimes on my dual G5.
DVD player is also an issue.
Ejecting CD’s and DVD’s needs to be done twice before they really eject.

    Hopefully this gets fixed.

10.4.7 was the worst tiger update so far for me. 🙁

  2. Please, please, please do the following:

    1. Update Finder – even XP’s Explorer blows it away
    2. Revamp iPhoto (or beg ACD Sytems to bring ACDSee back to the Mac)… can be added to #1 above
    3. Build in temperature monitors (Macs run hot!)

True, true. Maybe one lone voice can resonate across the internet and inspire such awesome updates. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”grin” style=”border:0;” />

    Have a good day man.

  4. Guys/Gals,

    – this is a “maintenance” update, so don’t expect any new/revamped features.
    – Safari has _many_ memory leaks, and they continue to track more down all the time
    – 10.4.7 is perfectly stable on my machine; care to elaborate on the “problems” you’ve had?

  5. No problems here. Tiger is as stable as XP in a power outage. At least, for me anyway. 2.0Dualie G5, iMacG5, last gen iBook G4, and 366 Clamshell. The clamshell has some artifact issues with the menu bar, but I think that’s due to the small screen.
