MacDailyNews presents live Steve Jobs’ WWDC Keynote coverage

MacDailyNews will feature live coverage of Apple’s WWDC Keynote presentation by Steve Jobs. Live updates will be available via a special text-only “lite” page here:

http://www.macdailynews.com/wwdc_2006_keynote.html

Shortly before the presentation, the MacDailyNews home page will redirect to the WWDC coverage page in order to help minimize server load. Shortly after the presentation, MacDailyNews will return as normal.

As with Macworld Expo and WWDC keynotes in the recent past, Apple will not be providing a real-time webcast or satellite broadcast. It is expected that Apple will post a QuickTime of Jobs’ keynote on their web site later today as the company does usually.

See you today at 10:00am PDT / 1:00pm EDT / 5:00pm GMT

(I have waaaay too much time on my hands!)

  2. It must really suck working at Microsoft today, especially those working on the Vista-Dinosaur project. I wonder how many of their 9,000 programmers will have one of these update sites on a tiny li’l IE window, hiding under their project window.

  3. Thanks MDN.

I’m going to try something a little different though. I’m going to avoid news and Apple related sites starting about 12:30 PM EDT and will (TRY) not to log on until I get home this evening in order to watch a QT stream of the keynote address. (Unfortunately I’ll see some things here and there before the QT stream – especially if going through Apple’s web site.)

Seeing how I am a consumer, don’t have the vacation time, or funds to travel across the country to attend a WWDC – my trial approach above is the best I can do to “experience” a keynote address.

    Peace.

  4. The Mac Pros are here! The Mac Pros are here! The Mac…

Wait a minute… Is Adobe behind on Creative Suite? They suck.
Thanks, Apple for doing a great job to get Leopard to the masses. Thanks, Adobe, for nothing.
