Apple offers free online Aperture seminar

Aperture brings the digital photography revolution to post-production. It’s the first all-in-one post-production tool for professional photographers. Now, you’ll have everything you need for after the shoot—with breakthrough speed and quality—whether you’re working with RAW, JPEG, or TIFF images.

You can experience Aperture in action at this free, on-demand seminar. Like Aperture, this seminar is built from the ground up for professionals. Apple’s Joe Schorr, product marketing manager, and Joseph Linaschke, technical marketing manager, will demonstrate the extensive range of groundbreaking features, and the benefits Aperture delivers throughout your digital workflow.

• See how to work in RAW format as easily as with JPEG, without intermediate conversions.
• Learn how to find the best shots using intuitive compare-and-select tools and a full-screen workspace for comparing multiple images.
• Discover how to adjust and color-correct images—without altering a single pixel in the original photos.
• Examine the flexible organizational tools, comprehensive metadata support, and powerful search tools for finding shots quickly.
• Watch how to instantly create contact sheets, print to a local printer, or order color-managed prints online.

  1. Cool. I wonder what Adobe is thinking about this program?

    1: threat?

    2: acceptance?

Perhaps this is why Adobe dragged their feet with Intel Mac version of Photoshop?

Or is it the other away around? Adobe is just slow? Fattened on too many Windows licenses?
