  1. Jeez, Louise–another one? This has got to be the highest per-capita concentration of Apple stores anywhere. Now I just have to decide which one to take my randomly crashing iMac G5 to.

  2. Will they be serving lutefisk? PARTY ! ! !

“”Lutefisk is the Norwegians’ attempt at conquering the world. When they discovered that Viking raids didn’t give world supremacy, they invented a meal so terrifying, so cruel, that they could scare people to become one’s subordinates.”

  3. This has got to be the highest per-capita concentration of Apple stores anywhere

How many regular posters here are FROM the Twin Cities? ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”smile” style=”border:0;” /> (I’m writing from the eastern suburbs.)

But it is a high concentration! All four stores will be within what, a 10-15 mile radius?

At least the existing three are literally within sight of Best Buy’s corporate HQ. Maybe BB can look out those big angled windows and learn something.

  4. I’m in a sw Mpls suburb. Been on Mac’s since the 80’s. I’m seen first hand how bad Best Buy is at promoting Apple products. There foray into Apple Computers was horrible. Go to CompUSA in Bloomington and pay $10.00 more for software that Apple Store has 3 minutes north at Southdale.

  5. Hello from Apple Valley, nice to meet some fellow Minnesotans here ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”smile” style=”border:0;” />

MDN movement: Is there are Mac movement in Minnesota?

  6. Minneapolis is the 2nd or 3rd largest ad / printing metro in the United States. That’s the reason for the 4th Apple Store.

Los Angeles is the first. I am an art director – there are a lot of people up here with similiar titles…

  7. From Richfield, Minn. here. All Apple stores are within 20 miles of miles of me. One 3 miles and the other 5 miles. Minn is full of liberal people. The Seattle or San Fran of the midwest.!! More apt to own an Apple.

  8. Duluth needs one more then Eden Praire. The Edina Apple store is 5 miles from Eden Praire. The new Ridgedale store is about 10 miles away from the Eden Praire store. Duluth is 150 miles away from the Edina store.
