“A while back, I mentioned about all the Mac minis that my company goes thru. I decided to start keeping the boxes as we got them. After a couple months, the collection [of all kinds of Apple boxes] is getting pretty good. In the loft of my house I’ve decided to just start building The Great Wall of Apple Boxes,” Brian writes for FreeMacBlog. “Also, when my neice comes over she likes to build little houses to knock over. (Well, I build them, she knocks them over.) If you’ve ever been to a Macworld Keynote, you know how much the Apple team cares about the packaging. Steve Jobs will usually introduce the product and then show the box that it will ship in. (Strangely, that draws more applause.) Apple makes such nice packaging that it feels strange to throw the boxes away. What do you do with the boxes that your Apple products come in? (PS, I’ll give a $10 iTMS gift certificate to the first person to list all the boxes in that picture.)”

Sounds like a fire hazard. We’re onto the real hard-hitting news today. Damn I hate those green ads.
Mini said, “We all live in little boxes, little boxes, all the same.”
Julius, get PithHelmet–No ads!
Come on, MDN. Where is your “(sic)” on “neice”?
No kidding! I can not believe how many ads MDN thinks we are capable of putting up with! It is getting ridiculous!
i like boxes. this bloke likes boxes too.
boxes are good. you can look inside boxes. you can even put things in boxes.
i like boxes.
ron, thanks for the advice, but I like to run a clean system. I’m not going to go to the trouble of installing and constantly upgrading an additional piece of software just so I can occasionally visit some crap site that just copies other peoples’ hard work and runs ads on their very words. I don’t come by here very much anymore anyways.
Btw., I LOVE Little Boxes! The version of Malvina singing it solo with acoustic guitar, shaky, out of tune voice and all is my favourite.
I LOVE THEMMMMMMM!!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK, I give up!
What’s that very dark box between the Airport Express and the iPod cable?
What’s that box at the very top?
About everything else can be easily identified unless he wants something more specific than “Core Duo iMac” or “G5 Xserve”.
I just recently tosseed the box that my PM9500 came it. Seemed like heresy.
All other boxes remain in my posession.
I used to work at Shreve Systems. We were a major refurbisher / reseller (Mac and Apple II only). If any of you guys are old timers you have probably heard of us. Anyway it was 50,000 square feet of Apple boxes, like nothing you’ve ever seen.
I’d rather have a few of the items that were IN those boxes…
RELEASE THE APPLAUSE!

Looks like another iPod Nano box.
I like the Mini boxes that are autographed. Nerdolicious.
the old mac boxes ( scully era ) were shyte
all brown and boring
it took steve to lighten stuff up again
let me hear ya sing it !
EveryMac Is Beautiful
Intro
Jobs loves the little imacs
All the imacs of the eworld
Red and yellow, pink and white
They are precious in his sight
Jobs loves the little macintoshes of the world
Chorus
EveryMac is beautiful in its own way
Like a starry summer night or a snow covered winter’s day
EveryMac’s beautiful in their own way
Under G-d’s heaven the world’s gonna find a way
There is none so blind as he who will not see
Windoze and pc users must must let their thoughts be free
For every hour that passes by, you know the world gets a little bit older
It’s time to realize that beauty lies in the hands of the Gold amex credit card holder

True, but the brown boxes were a “tree hugger” thing. Judging by the comments in the above post, most of you guys are Democrats, so I thought you would have liked that. Sorry, couln’t resist.
S-l-o-w….news day
Right on Thorin. democ-rat. Applec-rat.
DLMeyer: It’s OS X Server. from the picture I can’t tell which version but the server software boxes are all black.
DLMeyer,
The box on the very top is what a Photo Book comes in, one made with iPhoto or Aperture.
What, no Aperture box?
You run ALL these minis with just two keyboards?????
WHO really cares?
and the ads are killing me too.
Those boxes will be worth money on ebay. Please don’t damage them. Your niece can knock something else down.
