  1. Am I the only one sick and tired of this eternal “version zero” crap? Enough already! Suck it up, grow some b411s, and release a 1.0!

I mean, what the hell are they afraid of? I see no reason why the current version can’t be 1.0. It’s perfectly stable and does everything I need. The only improvement I’d ask for is a way to turn off those annoying error pop-ups when a playback has any kind of problem.

  2. It’s an open source beta project, 1.0 will be when they have all the features in the roadmap they set up for themselves. It has ntohing to do with “growing some balls”; haven’t you ever heard of Adium? Anyway, you can tell it to supress further errors in the errors popup that gives you info on what went wrong and you won’t see them again for that video.

This is THE best player for ANY OS. I recommend you all pick it up immediately.

They work off of a Mozilla/Open Souce model for their version numbers – trunks and branches. Version 1.0 will be the first “official” stable release.
