TIME 100 Poll: Who do you think are the most influential people of this year? (Steve Jobs leads)

For the first time ever, TIME Magazine is asking visitors to TIME.com to share their opinion on who they think is the world’s most influential person in five categories. The voting for each category will each run for one week. This week it’s “Builders and Titans” and included among the nominees is Apple and Pixar CEO Steve Jobs.

Currently, Jobs leads the poll with 51% and “The Google Guys” (Sergey Brin and Larry Page) are running second with 23%.

  1. Amazing. Making it easier for headbangers to obtain more tunes and stick ’em in their ear canals makes you Time’s ‘most influential’. Is this a great country or what?

Too bad he’s conceded the best OS to Bill (regardless of it’s measly market share – it was still the best). But, hey, follow the money, right?
