If I were rich enough to buy any one of these, I definatly would.
However, all my money is going into my house.
Peace out.
I think I’ll order 3 for work.
Just what the well-travelled geek needs…
I kept looking for the bit on the site that said “April Fools!!!!!111!!!1!eleven!!oneoneoneone!11!!!!”
or some such thing, but I couldn’t find it.
Prices will eventually fall. And then look for better, smaller, faster notebooks in our future.
three thousand dollars… I’ll cross that off of my list.
So much for seeing it in the next iPod…nice to know that its available though.
That would make three VERY expensive iPod Nano’s.
I’ll be able to find it on eBay for $5 in ten years. I’ll wait till then.
Just in time to make the, over paid, Microsoft executive Christmas wish list.
10 year data retention?!! Isn’t flash memory supposed to hold data pretty much FOREVER as long as the material is intact? Or does it mean the flash material only lasts 10 years?
and in 5 years itll be £60
Even though the price is high, this is still pretty amazing. In a year or two the decimal point in the price will move one place to the left, and in a few years after that, maybe one more place to the left. Can you imagine a laptop with two of these in it? This is really amazing.
1 60GB iPod costs less than $900.00, why would I buy one of these? Not positive, but if you look at the r/w specs for these flash drive, or any flash drive, they’re not much, if any, faster than a fast FW drive.
Hmmmm.
But I definitely love the idea of no moving parts, but the cost just doesn’t weigh in.
Direction – GREAT.
Prices – BAD…..for now.
To bad if it went through the wash…
