  1. NAND Flash memory is for the iPod line. Although why Apple would need 20% of the NAND chips from their current vendor is beyond me. IPhone makes sense. Is the postponement of the iPhone merely a smmoke screen? We will see. Something better happen tomorrow after all this shit. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />

  2. An apple store employee told my mother yesterday to wait for saturday, when apple would “blow the Blackberry away.” I know personally that apple store employees know as much as I do about future apple products, (or they are damn good at being evasive about upcoming products), so this is very weird.

I’m not putting anything into it, but maybe apple needs to rein in its people. My mother thought she had a scoop for me. I think it’s irresponsible, like all rumor-mongering.

  3. Since we all want that one magical device on our hips, or in our hip pocket, this rumor will always have legs.

I like to imagine hitting my home office server for anything…anywhere. VoIP when possible, and streaming nonsense at a finger’s whim.

The catch is in the ether, however. Wrestling the airwave mafia (Verizon, Sprint, Bells, Cingular) into a virtual network with some hope of seamless operation seems less likely than a five minute cell call without hassles.

Speculation by Apple retail people is strictly verbotten. What’s his name? I’ll forward it Apple legal lol . And yes, retail people know squat about future products.
