The fact that a game being released for the Mac is “news” reflects just how terrible the gaming state of affairs is for the Mac. Hopefully this will change over the next few years…
Fun game! A little old, though…
When will the SIms come out with a Vivid Pictures version, starring Jenna Jameson? ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”smile” style=”border:0;” />
A little old? Only if something better (or even newer) has replaced it.
It is STILL one of the most popular games EVER.
Games are boring.
Create a moat around a occupied SIM house and wait for them to burn alive!!!
mualllaa!!
Well, I used to sell Macs for 3 years, and I noticed mostly women who would rather ‘play’ reality, than ‘live’ reality, bought the SIMS.
>their very own romance novel/soap opera in a game<
“A little old? Only if something better (or even newer) has replaced it.”
Well, there is such thing as the Sims 2.
Nonetheless, the price makes it very appealing. Many hours of fun.

The fact that the new entry level Mini’s don’t play 3-D games well doesn’t bode well for Mac games. I don’t think things are going to get better anytime soon.
“The Sims Complete Collection”. I hope this means that the whole series has ended. So boring. As my wife once commented: “Is that all that happens?”
LOL, exciting times for Mac owners!
Next up is Pong. Pac-Man is scheduled for 2007.

Awesome! I love Pong and Pac-Man. Great classic games! Better than any new 3D games out now.
I am MacDude.
Kang: And over here is our crowning achivement in amusement technolgy: an electronc version of what you call table tennis. Your primitive paddles have been replaced by an electronic-
Bart: Hey that’s just Pong. Get with the times, man!
Homer: Marge and I played that old game before we were married!
Kodos: Well, we did build this spaceship, you know.
Kang: Anyone from a species that has mastered intergalatic travel, raise your hand. All right, then.
Marge: Sorry. Your game is very nice.
Next shocking news you may hear is; Micro$oft bought over aspyr into their XBox 360!!!!
The games industries is almost over. Less choice of gmes of Apple & PS3. PS3 still delaying. Xbox will rule the world …….
Quick, migrate to Mars, where micro$oft can’t reach us………
Sweet!… “Better than any new 3D games out now.”
uh… you need to get out more bro.
I happen to believe that the PS3 will be dominating, even if it is delayed (there is a date not yaknow- 11|11) Psssh, devs focus on consolle games more than computer games nowadays anyway.

MDN Magic word: Moved – as in moved on.
Stupid trolls, the SIMS has been out for Mac’s for ages, in installments like on PC’s.
It’s just now that you can get the whole package for a low price.

I HATE THE SIMS 1!!!
The Sims 2 however, I have huroughly enjoyed, it’s very very entertaining, and runs fine on my mini.
As if there are other games out there than WoW. Really kids.
Actually, I think Xbox now rules the gaming world. MS actually did a good job with that, and they handed Sony their ass. I might just have to get an Xbox 360 some day.
Here’s a free game I play on my Mac, a modern take on an old classic.
Apart from that, I’ve not got much time for games. I get more fun out of Garageband.
