  1. Considering what brand-name bare drives (with better warranties) can be had for now, these prices could be better still.

    If they got the empty case down to $49 or less, I’d put together one. (yes I know it’s a bit more than a plain case – but $49 is still a reasonable price, even considering the extra ports.)

    As cute as it is, I’ll wait for a better deal.

  2. I have one of these. I am not impressed. The case is flimsy plastic (the cover does not fit correctly if the cable is kinked the wrong way) and the fan is louder than it should be. For the $50 bucks I paid for the bare case I could have gotten something sturdier. It does look good from a distance though.
