  1. Fellow Macers…….

Very good episode(44) of DigitalLife.TV HERE

You can download it in H.264 too which is very cool – great quality (although 225 Megs). LOTS of Mac stuff in this episode:

    – Cracking open the Mac mini – you CAN upgrade processors.
    – Waterproof iPod cases
A VERY COOL demo from Alex Lindsay of PixelCorps.com – turning photos into 3D models (does it on his PowerBook! – way cool, must see)
    – Part II about modding your iPod – Think masking tape and Scotchbrite pads (and Apple says this will not void your warranty)

I have no affiliation with this show. Just passing on some info……Check it out.

  2. One other thing….

IMHO THIS(36 Megs) was the coolest Ive/Apple design EVER. I just love the way it looks. Awesome industrial engineering.

    </b>Remember THIS?(77 Megs)</b>

Ive is in it as well. Makes me sad to see the PPC go (listen closely during the IBM part – at the time they already had prototypes for a NEXT gen G5(6?)). Ive describes the design and the cooling (part of the reason for the Intel switch – heat?). Anyway, time marches on and Apple has decided to go with Intel (the Conroe’s are smokin processors!). Mainly I feel the switch is due to industry STANDARDS and SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT. But I digress, just wach the video and enjoy (or cry depending on your position).
