How to use your new iChat icons:
1. Download the iChat icons to your computer.
2. Launch iChat. From the Window menu, select Buddy List. Drag your new iChat icon to the image next to your name in the Buddy List.
Tip: Click and hold on your iChat icon in the Buddy List to see or select a recently-used iChat icon.

Apple has always had some pretty lame designs, .Mac included, like they are supposed to appeal to a eight grader or something.

I’m still waiting for those exclusive .Mac Widgets. Promised date- Tiger Release. That was April 2005– exactly 11 months ago.
Well, that convinces me that I need to rejoin .mac. Thats what I was waiting for!
What exactly do you mean by “guy stuff”? The default MacOSX install includes icons of footballs, pool ball, soccer balls, baseballs, and I think an airplane or two. No phalluses though.
Now if only Apple could get iChat audio to work again with slower Macs using slower connections. I really miss talking with my brother using our Macs and a dial-up. I can’t do that anymore thanks to the Tiger version of iChat. Come on you guys.
Rudge, have you tried Skype? Works great for me, even on mid-level computers. Your mileage may vary. But it’s free, so it’s worth the try.
