Apple Retail Store windows ‘smashed’ with new iPod Hi-Fi marketing campaign (with photo)

“I just happened to stop by the Apple Store to lust…whoops, I mean…covet….umm, no……I mean….ADMIRE the MacBook Pro,” Scott Hodge writes in his blog. “As I was crossing Michigan Avenue [Chicago] I almost walked right into a taxi when I saw this [image on left].”

“Turns out to be some clever marketing for the new iPod Hi-Fi,” Hodge reports.

  1. My guess is that upon sighting a butt-ugly HiFi in the store, a terrified iMac crashed through the window like a bat out of hell, out the mall, and down the street shrieking at the top of its lungs. The HiFi has no business having an Apple logo on it.

  2. Actually that’s a REAL broken window, somebody took their iPod HiFi home, found out it sounded like Krapp, tried to return it and Apple refused.

The result is what you see.

    True story, or will be.

    You decide.
