OWC drops prices on Mercury On-The-Go pocket-sized storage solutions

Other World Computing (OWC) today announced immediate price drops on the Mercury On-The-Go line of ultra-portable, pocket-sized FireWire+USB2.0 storage solutions.

Designed for the mobile worker, the Mercury On-The-Go line offers the only portable 2.5-inch storage solution with up to 160GB capacity and a custom Oxford 911 chipset.

The sleek acrylic case employs a proprietary shock isolation system for zero impact transfer to the drive mechanism. Seagate and Hitachi hard disk mechanisms are utilized exclusively. Units are available in 40-to 160GB capacities and are EMC/Dantz Backup Certified.

The On-The-Go drive weighs less than 12 ounces for maximum portability, and are popular in all business, digital photography, and home office applications. The unique storage solution is bus powered, or can use an included AC adapter. A carrying case and applicable cables are included.
