According to a blogger on FreeMacBlog.com, he was recently told by an Apple representative that the company is “not able to take large orders of Mac minis right now… it seems that you can order the current minis one by one, but not in bulk. This makes me believe that we’ll be seeing the first Intel Mac mini…and it certainly won’t be this ridiculous cube.
MacDailyNews Take: “Ridiculous?” Sniff. (Hey, speaking of sniffing, check out today’s .)
This news will help fuel the speculation that’s running wild in some quarters that Apple will unveil an Intel-based Mac mini during its special event on February 28th.

Can a consumer PC be labelled as fun?
That “ridiculous cube” is just packaging, not a computer,
So, when are we going to see a cordless mighty mouse?!?!?
Has anyone sat down to realize that Steve really did get the Mac Cube form done correctly his second time around? He just calls it the Mini now.

Dear Steve,
Just wanted to say you’re a fsking genius! Every time you send out these cryptic invites or a MacWorld approaches, your loyal fan base, blogshpere and the press go wild. The avalanche of speculation feeds on itself until we’re all sure we’re going to burst.
Keep up the good work, happy B-day and of course, Rock on!

I would think that a camera in all of the existing Cinema displays would be fun…
I’m getting excited, either a mac mini or iBook are tempting for me, have to wait and see the specs.
MDN word old ibooks and minis are “gone”
All I need is an Intel Mac mini. That’s all I need. A new Mac mini and this paddle game. And that’s all I need!
Johnny, the iBook is dead. There is no more iBook. If Apple announces a consumer laptop it will be called a “MacBook”.
Don’t be so sure, Tommy Boy. The iMac is still the iMac. “MacBook Pro” might be to distinguish it from the “Mac Pro” …
Tommy, it’s semantics. a new MacBook would still be a frickin’ iBook. Why are so many MAC users (oops… Mac users) anal retentive a$$e$?
“Ridiculous?” Sniff. (Hey, speaking of sniffing, check out today’s .)
Hey, who is on the coccaine high?
“That’s really not going to be a problem anymore, people, since I am out of coccaine…”

WALKEN ALERT ! ! !
“When I was a kid I joined the circus. I did that. It is true. But it’s not like you think. There was a guy, he had his own circus. His name was Carol Jacobs and he owned it. It was a small thing.”

Any bets on an iBookie?
