A reminder, Apple has invited the media to a special event, the third to be held in about a month’s time, to be held in New York City today. The event starts at noon Eastern.
In the email invitation, Apple requests that invited members of the media join them as “we unveil Apple’s latest pro innovations.”
Updated PowerBooks with up to 1920×1200 pixel resolution screens, dual-core/dual-processor Power Mac G5s with enhanced PCI-E-based graphics support, Xserve updates, and an Apple “Photo Pro” (or “iPhoto Pro”) software application are among the rumors circulating right now for product debuts at the event.
Stay tuned for more information and coverage of the event today as the news breaks.

What I don’t get is why AAPL ordinarily sees a price increase leading up to an Apple special announcement — yet this time, we’re being treated to still another day of stock price declines.
Weird.
Probably because this event hasn’t had nearly the amount of exposure that last week’s event had. People are still ooh’ing and ahh’ing over the recent product announcements.
I am hoping for the change over to PCI-E instead of PCI-X, which has very little and declining hardware availablility.
Of course the MacIntels will need to have PCI-E for the sake of hardware compatability, so should Apple change over now this will allow for more stocks of PCI-E items becoming available to us Mac users i.e. creation of suitable drivers.

Wireless Might Mouse?
Jamie is right. I’m watching that stock price and looking to grab another 1000 shares. This stock will be in the 60’s next year provided we don’t have another 911 or something bad terror wise. Here’s a chance to make some dough…. it all depends on how many shares you can lay in and ride up for 6-12 months. It’s clear sailing for a while at least.
Interesting tidbit?

Booth 338 is the largest at the PhotoPlus Expo. It’s name is listed as “Reserve.” Booth details list the company address as 1 INFINITE LOOP, MS: 301-4AM, CUPERTINO, CA 95014. Something huge is brewing. Canon will get a nice view of the action from their booth.
Macs King, they’ve just dropped .30% in the last 20 mins so get as many as you can. I’m spending the rest of my savings on them!
