  1. At first glance, I thought this was because Amazon doesn’t sell Dells on their website, but I looked and they do. I’m not quite sure why people want to buy their Apple computers from Amazon but people don’t want to buy Dells from Amazon. Maybe it’s because when they start looking, they realize that all those grey box PC makers have boring hardware.

  2. Whhoooo- Hooo! Number 2,6,9,10,12 in Amazon´s Heatlh and Personal care best sellers list are Pampers disposable diapers. Buy that company´s stock!

And top seller in Musical Instruments is:
“Musician’s Friend Standard Celluloid Guitar Picks 1 Dozen, Black Pearl Medium “
Their stock is going to double – buy today!!!!

  3. This “news” is so worthless.
First of all, who buys a computer through Amazon?
If Amazon sells 5 of each Apples mentioned above and 4 sony´s that is the best seller list. That few sales impresses some of you people?
If Amazon put some real numbers along side the rankings then we could see how relevant this infomation is?
They could be selling 1, 5, 10 or a million of them a day.

Meanwhile, if you go to the Apple store and check their ranking of best sellers there is not one compter in their list.

  4. PR, what’s your obsesison with PPC anyway? I understand it is a “cleaner” and “better” architecture, but it is not living up to its promises. If Intel, it’s even hard for me to say, if Intel *arrg* is faster and cooler (temperature) why would you stick with PPC?

I’m assuming of course there will be no Intel Inside stickers plastered on an otherwise elegant case.

MW: Woman as in, my name ends in”a”, but I am not a woman.

  5. “Not Mike” – LOL!

Yeah, this is pretty meaningless as far as Apple’s success is concerned. Still curious, though. If I had to guess, I’d say that most PC buyers go to Dell.com or just head down to the local big box retailer to pick up a Compaq $#!+box off the shelf.

Amazon must be where the cool consumers hang out. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”LOL” style=”border:0;” />
