  1. Very smart move. Japan’s 7-11 stores are some of the most efficient in the world. Many turn around their whole store’s stock in 1 week. Everything is monitored very closely. With so many people working long hours, getting to an Apple store may be impossible. The ease of picking it up on the way home is going to kick.

  2. Why not dispense them out of condom machines as well?

I forgot to remove my Nano while making love to a girl Friday night, needless to say the she did not care for it. God I’m addicted to my iPod.

  3. Now they need to get enough iPods made so they can be stocked in the stores. After a short run of the virtual iPod program, Seven-Eleven can get a feel for how many iPods they need to stock in each store and use the order-an-iPod program to fall back on whey they run out of a particular model.

  4. This is wild. I wonder if we’ll see them distributed as a surprise in Cracker Jack next?

    Can you spell iPod ubiquity?

Note to other MP3 player makers and iPod-killer wannabe’s: Give up all hope ye who enter.

Note to Sony: Wanna make money in the MP3 player market? Stop making MP3 players and start signing your artists to iTMS.

    Resistance is futile.
