iPod product briefs: iPort has announced a solution to remotely display and control Apple iPod via touchscreen. Two-way RS-232 control gives the user has the same experience they would have if they were looking at their iPod, only they can control the iPod from anywhere in the house without needing to leave their favorite listening chair.

SendStation Systems has announced the ‘earBuddy’ carrying case for white Apple iPod earbuds. The ultracompact case (about the size of a jewelry box) has been designed specifically with the iPod earbuds in mind, but can hold many other earbuds as well.
