“We are pleased to celebrate the fifth anniversary of our local Canadian site with this opportunity for our customers to win one of several great prizes,” said Richard Carret, manager-Passenger Sales for Canada. “For the last five years, the local site has tailored the United experience to our Canadian customers’ needs, by offering them many of the excellent features available on our main site, while also enabling them to book a trip and get fare quotes in Canadian currency.”

Participants will be required to provide their name, telephone number and e-mail address, and to answer a skill-testing question. No purchase is required to enter or to be eligible to win a prize. The winners will be drawn on or about September 12, 2005. Winners will be required to have correctly answered the skill-testing question in order to claim a prize. And, of course, second place is a Creative MuVO and TWO trips to the U.S.

Do Canadians pronounce (I mean “pronoonce”) iPod “iPood”?
Once again us bozos in Quebec are excluded from a contest. Distinct they chant..Distinct!…Extinct is sounding more appropriate…
Socialists aren’t into contest giveaways unless they’re sponsored by the government, so that’s probably why they’re excluded there.
Why would a company called ‘United’ care to offer their contest to separatists??
