iPod Battery 1.1 is a small, free, and simple Mac OS X application designed to change your iPod’s battery indicator from an icon to a numeric readout.
“You can change to a numeric representation from 0 to 999, giving a better understanding of battery status,” explains the developer. “The digital number indicator gives a more detailed view of battery status. You can change from analog (a small battery picture on iPod) to digital, or vice-versa.”

But will it work on my shuffle? ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”LOL” style=”border:0;” />
I don’t think so….
I was gonna install this but I then realised that I don’t need it, I charge mine regularly, have never had any problems with it running out quickly etc so why bother? Nice idea though.
I like it! Tastes great and less filling! ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />
In case it wasn’t obvious with my above post, I installed it and it works perfectly. My iPod is a 3G 30 GB.
Doesn’t work on my 5gig 1gen ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”confused” style=”border:0;” />
DOES NOT work on 4G 60GB Photo!
Doesn’t work on my 40 gig Photo. Does it work on any color model?
Works just fine on 6gb iPod Mini although I’d like it to be on a scale of 100 instead of 527(In my case). Perhaps version 1.2??? lol. More iPod hacks anyone???
It didn’t work on my 20 gig G4!
Are you guys installing it correctly? What you have to do is create a new folder, and drag the app out of the folder that you downloaded, and into the new folder.
I named the new folder the same as the app, but I’m not sure if it is necessary.
Then, drag the new folder to your iPod. My iPod is in Disk mode at the moment. Perhaps that has something to do with it.

Tried that also – 4G 60GB Photo. No luck! SUCKS! There used to be a version that worked on mine – another programmer though. Stop working when update for ipod came out. I want it back. This does not work!!!
But does it go to 11?
