Rush Limbaugh says ‘Mac OS X Tiger Rocks,’ posts link to free Rush advertisement for Mac

Rush Limbaugh has talked Apple , the Macintosh platform, .Mac, and Mac OS X on his radio show and posted the following text along with a direct link to Apple.com’s Mac OS X Tiger page on RushLimbaugh.com’s “On The Cutting Edge…” section:

Mac OS X Tiger Rocks
Free Rush advertisement for Mac. Listen up, Apple people…

Limbaugh says, among other things, “I’m sorry you Windows people, but you might as well be back in the Stone Age here.”

Trust us, Steve Jobs’ Apple didn’t pay Limbaugh a cent for this advertising. Limbaugh is just a Mac user doing the routine evangelism. Fortunately for Apple, Mac user Limbaugh spreads the word to 20+ million listeners every time he praises Apple and the Mac!

The link to the audio file (WMA, of all things!) is located near the bottom right of RushLimbaugh.com (look for the Mac OS X Tiger box photo) here.

Hey, Rush, figure out a way to offer QuickTime, at least as an option, will ya?

  1. Sometimes Rush bugs the hell outta me, too, but I do like the fact that he’s a Mac user and isn’t afraid to sing it’s praises whenever he can. I agree that Apple needs to Advertise Tiger as MUCH as possible now. This is the right time to do it.

  2. From RushLimbaugh.com: “FDR Designed Social Security to Empower Democrats for Generations.”

How true! Anyway, thanks to Rush a lot more people now know what Tiger is than would have without him.

MW: “right” (you can’t make this shit up – how do you do this MDN?)

  3. I especially liked the part of his 15 minute monologue yesterday at 2pm Eastern wherein he let Windows users he was sorry for them because they were still in the “dark ages”.

    And who said conservatives weren’t compassionate? ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />

  4. That’s great. He did more for evangelizing Macs in this one radio segment than anyone else has in the media. Whether you agree with his politics or not, thanks Rush!

  5. Rush is the living embodiment of everything that’s wrong with America. He can’t get his facts right, even when he was explaining how iSynch or a .Mac account works. He has done a great job at filling people with false information, and he’s the last person Apple needs associated with their products especially since he is a serial liar and will soon be a convicted felon.

MDN, nobody but you guys seems to care about Rush and his Apples. It ain’t news. It’s just crap.

  6. Ironic that it’s a .asf file. His webmaster should be shot. Or fired. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”cheese” style=”border:0;” />

    Anyway, nice endorsement.

    But Rush, have that faux pas fixed, okay? Afterall, you’re influential. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />

I’m thinking: mp3; aac; mpg; mov. Let’s hear the fun, from the Left and the Right… ears.

BTW, if the file that landed on my desktop was a .wma – I’d use EasyWMA on it.

  7. Didn’t rush Loose his hearing not too long ago?

I guess even his own ears couldn’t believe what he had to say after awhile.

Though he is right about Apple, everybody is not all bad…

  8. Actually, having this file as an .asf or .wma is the right thing to do for reaching the target audience. We current Mac users aren’t really the targets of his advertizing.

    Bootsey, you’re a joke
