Piper Jaffray analyst reiterates outperform’ rating, $100 price target for Apple Computer

Apple Computer shares rallied 1 percent in pre-open trading. Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster reiterated his “outperform” rating and $100 price target on the stock ahead of the “Macworld” conference scheduled for Jan. 10 to Jan. 14, where the company is widely expected to unveil new products.

  1. But the Apple Stock is held, on average, twice as long as the average PC Stock, with a greater overall value. And fewer hidden fees and no sick aftertaste.

  2. Beware: Peaks of bubbles are usually marked by at least one analyst making a wildly enthusiastic prediction of continued success. Remember “Dow 30,000”? The market tanked not long after that.
