“Playboy is offering its own special brand of holiday cheer to iPod Photo owners–free soft porn. The adult entertainment icon has posted a download called ‘iBod’ on its Web site that delivers pictures for viewing on Apple Computer’s new iPod photo device,” Richard Shim reports for CNET News. “The free gallery consists of 25 PG-rated images sized for the iPod photo’s display. Digital content with nude pictures is available on Playboy’s subscription site Playboy Cyber Club.”
“A Playboy representative described the download as a soft launch for services that will target a variety of portable devices capable of displaying photos. A formal launch is planned for January, but the company figured many iPod photo devices would be given out for the holidays and made the feature available now,” Shim reports. “‘We aimed at the iPod first because its owners know how to download images,’ said Rob Walton, entertainment senior editor for Playboy.com. The feature is meant in part to show Playboy.com visitors how to download Playboy content onto a portable device, according to Walton.”

Playboy’s iBod Webpage (click ‘iBod’ from the main page) contains these instructions:
Instructions for downloading to your iPod Photo:
1. Click on the link above to save the compressed files to your desktop. Expand the file Playboypics.zip, choose all the photos and extract the images to a new “Playboypics” folder on your desktop.
2. With your iPod Photo docked and connected to your computer, launch iTunes and highlight your iPod in the iTunes Source list. Choose “Edit” (PC) or “iTunes” (Mac) on the menu bar, go to “Preferences” and choose the iPod tab.
3. Click “Photos” and select “Synchronize Photos From” then navigate to your Playboypics folder on the desktop in the pull-down menu.
4. Select “Copy all photos” and hit “OK.”
Now you can view individual images or entire slide shows in the palm of your hand at the tap of a button to beautify your dull commute or just to pass the time in the lecture hall.
The sad state of the oversexed American male. The more sex he gets, the less satisfied he is with the experience. Eventually dying from a Viagra induced heart attack… a truly pathetic specimen if ever there was one…
That’s what Im talking about!!!!!!!!!
At least we die with a smile on our faces…
Oh boy. <sigh>
Heart attacks don’t give you smiles unless you’re into that sort of thing… you’ll find out.
The sad state of the oversexed American male.
Hey Bruiser, you might be surprised that other countries have sex drives too. In fact, my favorite “nudie” sites are all based in Germany and the Netherlands (who needs to “read” anything in those sites, wink, wink). Although I agree that sexually oriented content has run rampant on the Internet, you’d have to live in a cave to think that only Americans look at porn and take Viagra. Idiot.

Gee… lots of stuffy shirts here.
Be happy for my orgasm!! Damn prudes!
downloading now
Geez, who made you chief of the sex police anyway Bruiser? Lighten up dude…
Ya know, when I got my iPod photo, the first thing everyone asked was “Do you have any porn on there?” Honestly, what the hell? Do people really want to see pixelated boobs on a 2″x2″ display?
I agree with Bruiser, people spend way to much time thinking about sex. The morels of the world are going down the drain. There is more to life than sex.
The problem with the selling of sex is that this is all it is, selling – no delivery. The sexiest ads are about the promise, the undeliverable promise of sex. To buy into the promise means setting yourself up for disappointment.
Guys, go get yourself the real thing:

Without sex none of us be here
“Now you can view individual images or entire slide shows in the palm of your hand…”
Which one?
you guys, it’s hapened, the ipod is officialy a new platform of entertainment. it isn’t official, untill the porn comes, pun intended.
doPi: Lol !!!!!! ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”LOL” style=”border:0;” />
Now that’s funny. MDN posts an article on downloadable porn and then puts banner ads for the ipod photo on their page.
Geez, this site is getting desperate…
Life = Sex
Ever since I was 10 [when I got hold of my first Playboy] I’ve understood that the only compelling value of Playboy were its articles. That was still the case when I got to the raging hormones age: Others had better erotica, Playboy was for reading. Nowadays I prefer Vanity Fair while colleagues go for GQ and the likes of it [the male models make me feel like puking].
Just don’t co-brand it as the Playboy iPorn.
“There is more to life than sex.”
Yeah, like money to buy sex. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”grin” style=”border:0;” /> But think of it this way, w/o sex, life would truly suck. No pun intended.
Besides, it is good to see someone OFFICIALLY post something on the darker side of possibility to make it more main stream. aka, I thought about doing this type of thing: slide shows of my fav XXX pics on my TV, but I don’t have the $$$ for a nice 60 iPod Photo at this time.
heh heh heh ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”cool smile” style=”border:0;” />
Those of you portraying Bruiser as a prude are just lame. He makes a good point–porn can make guys pathetic.
Two cultural icons working together. How wonderful.
Americans being oversexed is the same as Americans being ‘overfed’ – which has very little to do with eating.
This is great. Often, while riding the New York City subways on my way to wage-slavery, I’m plagued with the urge to press myself against some woman wearing tight clothing and grind one out before my station appears. This Playboy download will definitely both inspire and enhance that experience.
