All eyes on Steve Jobs and Apple’s Q4 04 earnings report on October 13

“Steve Jobs hasn’t been working full time lately, but chances are he’ll make it to an important conference call this week, when Apple Computer reports its fourth-quarter earnings Oct. 13. The chief executive took off all of August and the better part of September to recover from successful cancer surgery and is working on a reduced schedule. Meanwhile, the company’s shares are trading near a four-year high, and investors are keeping their fingers crossed that rumors of better-than-expected sales of iPods and the company’s new iMac G5 turn out to be true. Analysts expect earnings per share of 18 cents–up from just 8 cents per share in the same quarter last year–on revenue of about $2.14 billion,” David Ewalt writes for Forbes.

  1. Apple is doing very well. Now it is important that they look to the supply side of things to be able to provide Macs for all the people who will want one.

    A very high quality problem.

  2. How about all three macdood? Or maybe we should enderle as well. Steve could take ’em, and still give a keynote after. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”smile” style=”border:0;” />

  3. Ed said “Or maybe we should enderle as well”

To quote the Oxford English Dictionary

Enderle 1 to enderle (v). to shamelessly self promote (enderling). 2 enderle (noun,f) a pompous ignoramus, one without technical knowledge.

So you were right, providing you were wanted to draw attention to yourself by having the debate in the first place ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”grin” style=”border:0;” />

  4. LOL ….. The English lesson aside…. the idea of all three on stage having a debate would be amusing….

But, using the axiom..”The more the merrier”… why not also include Enderle’s wife ??

I’m sure there would be lots on the stage for everyone here to poke fun at !!

  5. “…..Enderle & Thurott are not worthy of being on the same stage as Jobs. They are simply hack writers…..”

iSteve… yep, youre right…. however.. wouldnt it be fun to watch His Steveness make mincemeat from his detractors ??

I would love to see Thurott, Ballmer, and the Enderles feasting on crow !
