  1. Up from $13 I care ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”smile” style=”border:0;” />
    Me so good ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />

  2. Geez, you people need to get a grip. Aside from his name, “Idiot” never hints that he is a PC user. It seems to me that he is suggesting that it doesn’t matter what Apple’s stock price is, as long as they make great products. Y’all are just giving ammunition to PC bigots to attacks Mac users as being closed minded jerks.

  3. Isn’t amazing? Some analysts predicted AAPL could reach $40 by end of year and people laughed.

    Now there are talks of $50 and people just stay silent. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />

  4. I really wish Apple would use some of its market cap to put a move on EMI (which is only worth around $1.8 billion).

At one fell swoop, Apple would acquire the products of EMI, Capitol, Virgin, Chrysalis (great for iTMS), all of EMI Music Publishing’s assets (great for GarageBand and its siblings) and put MS on the backfoot regarding WMA, DRM and many other initiatives.

  5. Fuzzmanmatt:

Apple can acquire EMI, so long as it doesn’t then rename it as Apple Records or something equally stupid and inflammatory.

Apple Corps would also then have to decide how it wants to approach Apple Computer, given that the latter could stop the former’s material from being available online or indeed pull it from the tangible marketplace for three or four years at a time thus ‘house-training’ the whole McCartney/Ono/Harrison/Starr money making machine, which would then become solely reliant on radio play for income.

That would be hillarious and a good way to teach them.
