  1. PuterSaurus cheated. First post belongs to me. I just noticed too that the vending machine has a Bar-B-Q flavor! Hot damn this is going to be a great week to be in the break room!! I also found a nickel in the stairwell, so I’m one sleek, shiny quarter away from getting some delectables!!! I’m so hungry I might still eat that hairy Cheeto.

  2. Here we go again guys!

So – who is gonna wait before installing the update for feedback from the bulletin boards?

I think I’l wait and let others crash their systems…

  3. I am not a loser. I am a bad ass. And I am honorary First Poster. Plus, I just found another nickel in the parking lot!!! Twenty more cents and them Bar-B-Q Sun Chips are MINE!!!! Damn I love vending machines!!

  4. First post
… to tell that everything did not work well with that SU.
Restart did not work and I had to force my Mac to shutdown.

After that seems to work fine. Suddenly I have more disk space?!
Before update I had 4.95 gigs free in this machine. Now it is 5.18 gigs.
Dont know yet if this is bad or good thing ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”raspberry” style=”border:0;” />

  5. Ridiculous.. I had to think a moment where this machine has a power button.
I havent used it for let me see once last year? It was when I had to move this machine from one room to another.
It is restart few times with the updates no power button needed until now.

  6. iMac G4 17″ with 512Mb RAM and AirPort. No problems so far – running Office X 10.1.5, Macromedia Suite MX 2004, Quark 6.1, Final Cut, Soundtrack, Photoshop 7, FMPro 6 and Keynote. Adium seems fine too.

  7. My current system is at 10.3.3. Several months ago, I read that it is better to upgrade using the larger “combo” upgrade even if you aren’t skipping a rev. I’m tempted to download the smaller file, but I recall reading of reported cases where upgrading to the next rev using the smaller file sometimes created problems.

Which upgrade file are you folks using?

  8. I’ll HAVE to wait…41 Megs over a 56K dialup? Not this century.

    That said…the feedback is promising.

Fortunately, I have access to a school computer lab. Much faster…
