PB G4 17″, OS X 10.3.2. Downloaded update, installed, restarted, lost network connection, reset airport extreme basestation. Now everything is working as before. Software still shows version 3.3. How can you tell if the update “took”??
working fine on my PB12 867Mhz with a Cisco Aironet 1200 as base station.
How do you get to it. Its not in Software Update, and not at Apple Support. No link provided here. I’m hoping it solves some problems that the 3.3 update introduced to my network.
Nevermind, got the link from MacWorld. Its http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/airportsoftwareupdate.html
It finally showed up in Software Update on my system. No mandatory reboot, whew.
Bzzt, restart required. Helps to click the install checkbox first. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”grin” style=”border:0;” />
