From iMacs to Big Macs: Apple Japan President to take McDonald’s Japan CEO job

“Apple Japan Inc.’s President may be trading iMacs for Big Macs after he steps down from the computer company later this month,” Martyn Williams reports for IDG News Service. “McDonald’s Holdings Co. (Japan) Ltd. is ready to offer Eiko Harada the position of CEO, a company spokesman said Friday. Harada recently signaled his intention to step down from Apple Japan and is expected to leave the company shortly. In a letter sent to business associates, a copy of which was obtained by IDG News Service, he said he was looking forward to a challenge outside of the IT industry.”
