DC30 Xact Driver has been updated to version 1.5. The first Mac OS X driver for the miroMOTION DC30 series video capture cards and Power Macintosh G4. It is full-featured, works with Apple Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere, bringing excellent A/V quality, according to the developer. Also adds a lot of new features to the DC30 and the DC30plus, to get the best of these capture boards with Mac OS X.
This version supports Final Cut Pro 4 and extends RT Extreme to Motion-JPEG A. This version also introduces 8-bit Uncompressed video in the DC30/DC30plus, with the new LOSSLESS 4:2:2 codec to store it and save disk space; this powerful codec works with RT Extreme, too. Direct MJPEG capture from FireWire is now supported, even with no card installed. Many more enhancements are featured in this updated driver.
