Other World Computing (OWC) today announced it has expanded its Mercury Extreme G4 AGP processor upgrade line with the addition of a 1 GHz model.
The addition supplements one of the most complete collections of processor upgrades available in the Macintosh market. The new processor upgrade is available immediately through OWC for only $349.99.
The OWC Mercury G4 Extreme line offers cost-effective, easy to install plug and play solutions to increase the performance of Apple PowerMac G4 models. When are these going to support the Blue & White G3s? I have a 450 G4 in it now, which is close to the best I can get. I’d really like to pick up a Ghz or 1.25 Ghz to extend the life of this machine.
