Apple to open retail store in Seattle this Friday

Apple will hold a Public Grand Opening for their latest Apple Store on Friday, September 26 at 6:00 p.m. (PDT).

At the Apple store, knowledgeable sales people are available to help customers learn about the revolutionary iTunes Music Store and new ultra-portable iPods. The hands-on Apple store experience provides visitors access to the latest Mac computer systems including the new PowerBook G4 notebook line, iMac and eMac running innovative digital lifestyle applications like iPhoto 2, iDVD 3, iTunes 4 and iMovie 3, as well as Mac OS X, Apple’s revolutionary operating system. Customers can visit the Genius Bar where they can get their Mac questions answered by an Apple “Genius.” Apple store visitors can also check email and use Apple’s new iChat AV and iSight digital video cameras to video conference with friends and family.

    Well, I don’t know if I should be happy or mad at Apple. On one hand, an iPod giveaway is nice and the promotion is tied to the Husky football, which is a big thing in Seattle. OTOH, as a Husky fan, I am mad because it sounds like Apple doesn’t think the Huskies can score points! Wait till they score 45 points again like last Saturday!
