NewsFlash: Consumer Reports says Macs most reliable personal computers

In a survey of 39,000 Consumer Reports readers, Apple was tops with the fewest number of defective computers and was rated number one in the technical support category.

We are not surprised here at MacDailyNews by this almost common sense survey finding; hence the sarcastic use of the word “NewsFlash” in our headline.

Four percent of consumers bought a computer that “was completely inoperable within the first month; another 10 percent had problems that month but could use the computers.” Second place Dell trailed Apple’s ratings, 64 to 76 out of a maximum possible score of 100. Comsumer Reports says, “differences of 4 or more points are meaningful.” Full article here.
