  1. Apple has to negotiate specifically with individual artists who hold back. That takes time.

Any word on whether any smaller labels are in the library yet? It’s well known that many want in, and that Apple is now working on adding them. Anyone know if that’s turned into actual available songs yet?

  2. Couldn’t find “Straight to Number One” by Touch and Go (the Summer Catch soundtrack edition). I found the slower Queer As Folks (USA) album version but not the faster alternative rock one.

Strange since this is the song Apple uses in their iTMS promotional video?

  3. early Tuesday morning, I downloaded the Red Hot Chili Pepper’s “Californication” album. It has since disappeared, along with any mention of the Chili Peppers, which is the way it was before Tuesday.

    Very strange..
