Embedded in today’s “Byte of the Apple” column over on BusinessWeek Online is this little gem:
“Although Apple won’t talk about it, IBM has confirmed that it’s developing a new set of chips for the Mac,” Alex Salkever, Technology Editor for BusinessWeek Online reports in his article “Will this be the summer of the Mac?”
We first reported on this piece last night here.
This is the first “real” confirmation of PPC 970 for Apple from IBM, right?
I take that with a grain of salt. Salkever isn’t always completely accurate.
Is anyone ALWAYS completely accurate?
Maybe Jayson Blair over there at the NY Times, but other than that….
Salkever often makes statements about things that he assumes, or doesn’t really understand. This may be one of them.
