Download Wizard, a small, simple replacement for your browser’s built-in download manager, has been updated to version 1.06. It is written entirely in Cocoa, so it integrates seamlessly with Mac OS X and includes features you’d expect from a Cocoa-based application: dock menus, service availability, dock icon status, localization, etc. It strives to be small, fast and reliable while making use of all the abilities of Apple’s Mac OS X. It currently has the following features:
– Ability to transfer files via HTTP (both normal and authenticated) & FTP (Hotline support has been removed but will return in the next version)
– Download resuming if server supports it
– Download recovery if network failure/errors occur
