SteveJack’s latest opinion piece, entitled, “Have compassion for isolated Windows users who can’t experience Macintosh” takes a look at a once-popular analogy:
“Inspired by a recent post from Lino Triestino in the MacDailyNews Reader Feedback that revisited the ‘Berlin Wall’ allegory to describe the difference between Mac users and PC users, I felt the need to flesh out the analogy since I haven’t given it a thought since the Wall fell. The ‘Berlin Wall’ example still is one of the best ways to describe the gulf between Mac and PC users, better than cars, videotapes, or other popular analogies.”
