Jobs on iTunes Music Store: ‘history will write that this was a major milestone’

In an interview, due out tomorrow in print, Steve Jobs discusses the future of the music business and Apple’s transformation with Chuck Philips of The Los Angeles Times. Among the Q&A is the following compendium of quotes:

“There is no question in my mind that history will write that this was a major milestone in the evolution of the real digital-music age. We believe in the future of music… We all love music here, and the whole piracy thing was such a mess. We thought maybe we can clean it up with a really cool product,” Steve Jobs told The Los Angeles Times.
