It can also read a stream from a network, sent by the VideoLAN Server or another source. The stream can be MPEG 2 TS in UDP or HTTP packets unicasted or multicasted on an IPv4 or IPv6 network.

Excellent! VERY well done. After trying many, many players that others said allowed them to view DiVX AVI files but could never get them to work on my machine, this one finally does what it claims. It even opened and played AVI files that I could only play on the PC after getting WMP-9, ones that version 8 couldn’t handle. This is a great piece of freeware.
