Some Macs to boot OS 9 until June 2003 according to Apple

“Apple… confirmed that several of its current Macintosh configurations would be able to boot into Mac OS 9 until June 2003. While speculation was that Apple would be making such a move to accommodate customers of QuarkXPress, which is currently only available in an OS 9 version, Apple also pointed to its education customers as a reason for the move,” reports Jim Dalrymple for MacCentral.com.
