Woz to co-host Tech TV’s ‘The Screen Savers’ tonight

The Apple I computer made its debut at the Homebrew Computer Club in Palo Alto, California, in 1976. It boasted a 1-MHz processor and 8Kb of RAM within its handsome wooden case. Its creator was Steve Wozniak, who had worked on designs for the homemade machine for some years, but didn’t have the circuit board printed until his buddy Steve Jobs insisted they try to sell it. Wozniak and Jobs founded Apple Computer, came out with the Apple II, a refinement of the first computer, and made personal computing history. Woz will co-host ‘The Screen Savers’ with Martin Sargent on Wednesday, November 27 at 7 p.m., 10 p.m. and tomorrow at 2 a.m. Eastern.
