.Mac Webmail is temporarily down… again (UPDATE 5:30pm – It’s back online)

As of this story’s timestamp, we couldn’t log into our .Mac’s Webmail account. All we got after a long while was a page reading, “We’re sorry. Webmail is temporarily unavailable.” Let’s see, US$50 divided by 365 divided by 24 equals how much Apple owes us per hour of outages? The message from Apple is here.UPDATE 5:30pm: It’s back online sometime before 5:30pm – we haven’t checked for a while, so we’re not sure exactly how long it was out. The nice folks at Apple’s .Mac outfit owe us at least a half a cent by our calculations.
