Animated Halloween jack-o’-lantern for your Mac OS X Dock

The download is still there for the “Halloween Dock App,” even if the developer StimpSoft isn’t. And, it still works fine in Jaguar. “Halloweenify” your Dock for the season! All you have to do is download it and launch it, but you can go further. New faces can be added by making black and white PICT files and placing them in the “Faces” folder. Black areas in the picture will show up as a cut-out area on the pumpkin. Keep the images to a size of 94 pixels wide by 94 pixels high (a template is included for making faces). Then launch The Halloween Dock App, choose “Edit > Preferences” from the menu bar, and choose the face you want from the pop-up menu. You can also set the speed at which the pumpkin light “flickers” by adjusting the “Flicker Speed” slider in the preferences window. More info and download links here.
